Encoding & Encoding Profiles
All uploaded videos can be encoded into multiple pre-configured formats (MPEG4, HLS, WebM, WMV etc.) and resolutions (1080p, 720p, 480p, 360p, 240p) using compression codec H264, to allow playback on different devices and browsers in varying bandwidth conditions.
An administrator can control these encoding options from within their Portal’s Control Panel, enabling and disabling multiple encoding profiles as required. An uploaded file will be transcoded to the configured digital formats, and the format and resolution that is compatible with the viewer’s device, browser and available bandwidth, is streamed to the player.

Detailed audit logs provide complete details regarding every single user activity within the platform – everything from who accessed the platform from where and when to when a specific file was accessed, by whom, who it was shared with, etc. Such detailed digital trails or logs help administrators securely monitor all user activity while providing comprehensive data for adherence to various compliance policies.
VIDIZMO has a unique multitenancy platform. VIDIZMO’s portal-level autonomy not only provides complete user and content segregation but goes as far as to provide separate portal management and administration policies, branding, licensing, compliance, security, storage, membership types, hosting options (geographically/cloud or on premise), encoding, live streaming, single sign-on, and more.
Practically, what this means for a customer is that they have complete control and autonomy over department-level portals, so each department can have its own storage, encoder, CDN, SSO, branding, hosting location, etc., to meet their specific regulatory compliance and security requirements. This also means that VIDIZMO’s multi-tenant software enables customers to run multiple virtual instances of VIDIZMO portals within one deployment instance. As an example, VIDIZMO EnterpriseTube comes with four portals that allow customers to run four EVCM instances at the cost of one software license. To achieve similar business goals with any other players in the EVCM market, a customer will need to buy and install four separate instances of their software, amplifying the cost and management requirements.
Moreover, you can also have multiple account subscriptions as shown in the image below, allowing you to have multi-tenancy options at portal as well as account-level.
In order to deliver video in an enterprise environment, VIDIZMO allows its customers to adhere to specific corporate branding guidelines for compliance. To enable this, VIDIZMO provides branding flexibility for customization to accommodate wide-ranging organizational branding compliance needs.

VIDIZMO offers the flexibility to allow enterprises to customize the way certain terms appear on their Portals by using the Thesaurus feature. This feature simplifies the task of adding or replacing the terms appearing in the menu, headings or labels across the entire Portal from a single interface.

VIDIZMO has robust security offering with various safety controls, both on an application level and for stored content. VIDIZMO provides platform-based security by allowing you to define your security policy, single sign-on and multi-factor authentication, role-based access control, digital rights management (DRM), login encryption, audit logs, IP/ domain restriction, inactivity timeout, user lockout as well as GDPR compliance for user data protection.
For video-specific security, VIDIZMO offers stream encryption at rest and transit, URL tokenization (expiration), SSO-enabled video embedding and password-protected videos.
VIDIZMO also offers secure deployments in public or private cloud as well as on-premises.
VIDIZMO helps its customer organizations secure their content by implementing Digital Rights Management solution. VIDIZMO allows access policies for the content to be defined in the DRM license, to allow only a specific audience to acquire the license and playback the media. VIDIZMO supports industry-standard Microsoft’s PlayReady, Google’s Widevine and Apple’s Fairplay DRM technologies.
In a Portal where DRM is enabled, whenever a viewer accesses content, the encrypted content will not play unless the user acquires the license. Based on the user’s request, the licensing server verifies if the user is authorized to view the content. Upon successful authorization, the player will receive the license and key to decrypt the content for the user to be able to play it back, otherwise, the request to access content will be rejected. This enables the content to be exclusively accessible by only those who possess the authorized license.
In the absence of DRM, users can still utilize VIDIZMO’s authorization policy that allows the uploader to define who can access the media and for how long.
With VIDIZMO’s AI content processing, advanced workflows are triggered as soon as you upload your content and the metadata that would have been hidden otherwise is now extracted and indexed.

This allows users to search required data by faces, speakers, objects, keywords, topics, sentiments, text and many other insights.
